A step outside the comfort zone...

this post is going to be a slight step outside of my comfort zone. That's because I'm sooo used to writing make-up reviews and nothing but that. I've decided now though that I want to try something a little different to see how it works out! I'll still be writing my make-up reviews though...

Recently, I've been becoming more and more obsessed with buying clothes (almost as bad as make-up)! And I thought it might be different if I was to talk about and share some of the new clothes I've bought and outfits I've put together. Though obviously not everyone is going to appreciate this as we all have our own fashion sense and are a little different.

Anyway, my favourite shops recently are New Look, Topshop and River Island. And if I'm ordering online it has to be Missguided, easily! I love Missguided. So much. I love these places for all kinds of different reasons. Although the types of clothes in these shops are fairly similar, the prices definitely vary. I could buy multiple outfits from Missguided/New Look for under £100 but in Topshop/River Island I will be lucky to get one! I still love them equally though.

I have picked out these three outfits because they are fairly different and would be worn for different occasions. Starting with the first outfit on the left, the shoes are actually from Primark, I don't tend to buy from Primark unless it's for socks but I must admit I have a little mooch around and they can have some nice things from time to time like these shoes for example. I picked up these for only £16 which is an absolute bargain I'd say! I love these shoes because they can take a dull outfit to classy just like that. The high waisted jeans in all three outfits are from Missguided which I picked up for £25 and I love them because they are a nice tight fit and make your bum look amazing. I must admit I have put a little weight on recently so high waisted jeans are now my life because they hide my tubby belly! Underneath the khaki coat I am wearing a knitted crop jumper that I picked up from New Look for around £12 maybe? I can't actually remember that one but it has a really nice zip on the back. I am in loooove with this khaki coat! You can't see from the picture very well but it is actually suede and has a nice belt with it so you can wrap up if you want to, but I think it looks nice open so you can see the rest of the outfit. This sort of outfit I would probably wear if I was going out somewhere nice, maybe for a meal or something, the shoes take it from an everyday outfit to a special occasion outfit.

Moving on to outfit 2... I got these shoes from Topshop for £20, and I must admit I wear these almost everyday! They go with literally any outfit and they are just nice easy slip on shoes. Again wearing my high waisted jeans from Missguided. And also this grey ribbed jumper I picked up from Missguided and I love it. I think it's so cute the way it falls off your shoulders and again you can pretty much pair it with any pair of jeans and it's going to look good! This is more of a day time look for me, something I'd wear everyday, not for anywhere special.

And last but not least outfit 3... So again I'm wearing my Primark heels and Missguided jeans. However the top is from Topshop and I picked it up for about £6 which for Topshop I think is fairly cheap! I love this top I think it looks nice with high waisted jeans so you don't have too much boob and stomach on show, it's just the right ratio! This outfit I would say is more of a going out one, maybe for a few cocktails or clubbing.
